Cartridge heaters
Cartridge heaters are intended for heating solids. Most often they work in holes of metal parts, but they can also be used to heat liquids and gases. These are elements with a special construction that allows the emission of large amounts of heat from small areas.

Technology
Cartridge heaters, thanks to forging technology, achieve high power in relation to the surface. Forging increases the density of magnesium oxide, which improves the parameters of the heaters.
- magnesium oxide of the highest purity
- High-quality nickel-chromium resistance wires
- cables in temperature class 260°C or 350°C
- Stainless steel pipes and rods in AISI 304 grade AISI 304

General structure
Cartridge heaters are made of stainless steel AISI 304 and are terminated by a tightly welded bottom. By using the highest quality materials, the products are characterized by high precision and maximum durability. Production in H7 fitting enables operation at temperatures up to 550° C, and the temperature sensor allows to achieve a precisely defined temperature.
Types of heaters
Current outputs
- PTFE sheathed cables
- Fiberglass braided cables
- Wires in fiberglass sheath
- Wires in the protective tube
- Steel braided cables
Heating zones - power distribution
There is a possibility of making cartridge heaters with different power distribution. Appropriate distribution of heating power density on the surface of the element allows temperature control. This technology is used to eliminate heat loss at the ends of the heaters or to heat selected mold zones.
Temperature sensors
In cartridge heaters there is a possibility of using a temperature sensor:
- Thermocouple type J (up to 650°C)
- Thermocouple type K (up to 1000°C)
- Pt-100 sensor (up to 550°C)
