Tubular Heaters

In the production of tube heaters, rolling technology is used, which affects the high density of magnesium oxide. Thanks to this, the heaters achieve high power in relation to the surface, which significantly improves their parameters and prolongs their life.

Technology
Strzałka w dół

Rolling technology is used in the production of tubular heaters, which affects the high density of magnesium oxide. Thanks to this, the heaters achieve high power in relation to the surface, which significantly improves their parameters and extends the service life.

Raw materials
Strzałka w dół

To achieve the highest parameters and maximum durability of tubular heaters, we use only the best raw materials for their production. We use, among others, magnesium oxide with the highest purity, resistance wires with excellent parameters, wires in temperature class 260°C or 350°C and pipes and rods made of stainless steel in minimum grade AISI 304, 321 or 316L.

Technological processes
Strzałka w dół

  • Cutting the pipe
  • Winding resistance wire
  • Backfilling the heating element Rolling
  • Heat treatment – annealing of the heater to soften the pipe
  • Bending to the desired shape
  • Sealing
  • Current connections – connecting power terminals to the heater

Tubular heaters for use in the air

Heaters working in the air are made of stainless steel grade min. AISI 304. The shape of the bend depends on the customer’s needs. The stainless steel AIS304 heat sink increases the surface area and heat dissipation efficiency. Heaters can be mounted with glands, headers, brackets, mounting plates, blind flanges etc. Available variants:

  • heater diameter Fi 8.5, Fi 25 heat sink
  • heater diameter Fi 10, Fi 29 heat sink
  • heater diameter Fi 13, Fi 34 heat sink

Tubular heaters for use in liquids

Tubular heaters designed for use in liquids are made of stainless steel AISI 321, 316L or INCOLOY 800. Detailed parameters (power, voltage, bending and type of fastening) depend on the customer’s needs. Tubular heaters are usually mounted in 1 “, 1 ¼”, 1 ½ “, 2″, 2.5” heads made of brass or stainless steel. On request, it is possible to make the head of stainless steel with any type of thread. Heaters can be mounted in M14x1.5 or 3/8”cable connectors. Heaters in heads and cable connectors are connected by  brazing (silver) or in the case of aggressive liquids – TIG welding. The current output of this type of heater is standard (M5 screw, slide, M4 threaded terminal). In the case of 1 ½ “, 2″ and 2.5” heads, the entire connection can be covered with a shield box. On request, we produce heaters with a built-in thermostat or the sheath itself for the temperature sensor.

Tubular heaters for working in mold channels

Tubular heaters for injection molds can have different shapes, which is why we manufacture them according to the specifications provided by the customer. The heater made this way is bent and then mounted in the splitter.

Defrost tubular heaters

Tubular heaters for defrosting refrigerated counters have an additional, hermetic insulation on the heater’s current connection with the cable. As with other types of heaters, they are made according to the individual needs of the customer.
